With its theme, “ReimagiNATION,” the 72nd edition showcases Filipino creativity and craftsmanship at its finest during the Manila FAME trade show, which takes place over three days—October 17, 18, and 19, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. This home, fashion, and lifestyle trade show brings together various collaborators, innovators, including international buyers, exhibitors, visitors, and guests.
The North-Diamond Consumer Goods Trading Digital Marketing Services Team, Jennifer Ilustrisimo (Business Process Analyst), Marjorie Patibo (Consumer Market Analyst), and Mary Joy Cadacio (Sales and Marketing Specialist), attended the first day.
Fortunately, the three North-Diamond CGT staff had the opportunity to meet the renowned TV personality, Ms. Jessica Soho, who was also gracing the trade show as her charm and charisma added a special sparkle to the event.
Also on the first day, First lady Liza Araneta-Marcos graced the occasion and presented the KATHA Awards winners and toured the trade exhibition amused by the products, creative pieces, and special settings.
Meanwhile, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said Friday on its second day’s exhibit that the government is working very hard to make Philippine designers globally competitive, impressed by the designs he added, “better and better and better, approaching world-class quality,” expressed much confidence that Filipino designs do well in the world market.
Vibrant fabrics crafted from abaca, pinya, bamboo, among others tailored into stunning dresses, elegant shawls, chic footwear, and stylish bags, captured the eyes of passersby, drawing them in with their rich textures and classic colors.
Overflowing with talent and inspiration, each booth showcased Filipino ingenuity, creating a vibrant global platform that seamlessly blended local and international commerce.
