North-Diamond Joins TELACon 2025: Championing Sustainability and Innovation in Textiles

31 January, North-Diamond Consumer Goods Trading Managing Director, Ariel Sardalla, along with Design Consultant Antonio ‘Tony’ Adriano, IDr., attended the 2025 National Textile Convention (TELACon) at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). The event was spearheaded by the DOST – PTRI led by PTRI Director, Dr. Julius Leaño, Jr.

During the second day of the conference, keynote speaker Senator Loren Legarda emphasized the importance of making the textile industry a cornerstone of environmental responsibility, cultural preservation, and economic resilience, encouraging the audience to seize the opportunity to drive meaningful change.

The invitation to engage in the TELACon coincided with the celebration of Philippine Tropical Fabrics Month. Sir Ariel and Sir Tony were delighted to connect with Jo-Dann N. Darong, Assistant Director, Bureau of Competitiveness Development DTI, and Mr. Ali Atienza, Executive Director of the Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA).
